The Iris is a uniquely styled curved oval shape stove that as the name suggests is the curved shape of an eye when looking down on the stove from above.  The Iris incorporates glass to three sides to provide a 3-dimensional view of the fire within.

The Iris is rated at offering a nominal output of 8kw with a maximum output of approximately 12 kw. The finish and unique appearance of this high quality stove is superb, and the overall appearance of this stove is of substance and high quality.

The Iris is manufactured by the award winning Spanish manufacturer Panadero, from high grade steel, that unlike fragile cast Iron, won’t melt o crack. The firebox is fully lined with heat proof vermiculite to prolong the life of the appliance and to reflect the heat out from the firebox into the room. 

The Iris incorporates an advanced air wash glass cleaning system to that works to keep the large curved ceramic glass windows clear to provide a warming view of the flames. Other features include dual burn technology, which ensures that the fuel gasses are fully burnt to obtain the maximum efficiency and heat output with low fuel consumption; the Iris carries an A efficiency rating.

The Iris complies with the new Eco design regulations and also has the option to connect to an external direct air supply. In recent tests stoves that were Eco Design certified used 6 times less fuel than traditional non certified stoves, the result is huge savings on fuel consumption. 

The stove includes a Multi-Fuel fire grate, meaning that it can burn both solid fuel and wood, and a removable ash pan for ease of cleaning and maintenance. 

In summary the Iris will provide a unique focal point and at a fraction of the cost of lower quality stoves of a similar style that can be found in many high street stove shops.
