The Sydney is made from high quality steel, that unlike fragile cast Iron, won’t crack or melt. Steel also radiates heat more quickly and much more efficiently than cast Iron. The Sydney is Eco Design Compliant to ensure maximum efficiency and low fuel consumption. In recent independent tests stoves that are Eco Design compliant used 6 times less fuel than traditional non compliant stoves.

The Sydney incorporates a combined primary and secondary airflow control vent to provide simple, but optimum control over the burn rate and temperature output. An advanced air wash system ensures that the large curved ceramic glass window remains clear to provide a warming view of the flames. The Sydney also features secondary burn technology where the spent gases are re-ignited to optimise the efficiency making the stove among the most efficient appliances on the market. CO emissions are less than 0.3% and the heating efficiency rating is rated at over 80% efficient, meaning that the Sydney offers low fuel consumption combined with optimum heat output.

The fire box is fully lined with ceramics and Vermiculite to optimize the life of the appliance and to reflect the heat out in to the room and the stove is equipped with a large removable ash pan for ease of cleaning. Other features include a flush fit door handle and a large lower log storage shelf to complete the contemporary appearance of this unique multi-fuel stove.
