Description

Fixed Length 500mm Stove Pipe – 6 Inch, CE Approved, Heavy Duty (Dark Grey)

The Fixed Length 500mm Stove Pipe is a robust, heavy duty flue pipe designed for safe and efficient single wall chimney connections. Please note: this product is not compatible with black vitreous enamel pipe and will not join to other sections of black vitreous enamel pipe. If you require a reliable solution for connecting your stove to your flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, the Fixed Length 500mm Stove Pipe delivers outstanding performance and durability.

Manufactured from thick 1.3mm high grade steel and finished in a tough dark grey vitreous enamel, this CE Approved pipe is designed to withstand the demands of gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 750°C. Each section is heavy and solid, making it ideal for installations where a short, strong single wall chimney is needed. Multiple pipes can be interlocked to achieve your desired height; however, this product does not include a sweeping access door.

Key Features of the Fixed Length 500mm Stove Pipe

Heavy Duty Construction: Crafted from 1.3mm thick high grade steel for maximum strength and longevity.
Fixed Length: 500mm sections can be interlocked for custom installation heights as required.
CE Approved: Complies with European safety and quality standards for peace of mind.
Versatile Application: Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances up to 750°C.
Diameter: 6 inches (150mm) for compatibility with most stove and flue setups.
Professional Finish: Dark grey vitreous enamel for a modern, resilient appearance.
Incompatibility Notice: Not compatible with black vitreous enamel pipe.

Installation & Safety Advice

The Fixed Length 500mm Stove Pipe should only be used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Never use single wall stove pipe to pass through ceilings or walls—always use twin wall insulated flue pipe for those sections to comply with safety regulations. For safe installation, maintain a distance of at least three times the pipe’s diameter from combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard.

Install the pipe with the smaller diameter pointing downward, ensuring condensates stay within the flue system. Each joint should be sealed with a suitable jointing compound, such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant, to prevent leaks and keep your installation looking its best.

Maintenance

Regular inspection and cleaning of your flue system are essential for safe operation, particularly with solid fuel appliances. For easy cleaning, consider including a stove pipe with an access door elsewhere in your setup. Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be swept at least once a year, or more frequently depending on use.
