Ideally suited for vented hot water systems, in conjunction with a Solid Fuel appliance / stove.
When using a stove with back boiler on a vented heating system, there is a risk that the hot water could boil up to the header tank and make the water in the header tank hot, even to a temperature close to boiling point. Traditional header tanks are made from plastic that can fold in and collapse when they become hot. The results can be serious in that the hot water will literally fall out of the header tank and where the header tank is located in a loft or upstairs area, damage and or injury can occur. A copper header tank will not melt or collapse if the water within the tank becomes hot, they are therefore a much safer option than a traditional plastic header tank.
A Copper header tank can prevent Legionella. Results of tests carried out by BSRIA in the UK showed that copper was effective against Legionella bacteria in both cold and hot water systems.

We sell many of our products to customers outside the United Kingdom, in particular Eire and France, however we can ship to any country in or outside Europe. Typically delivery to France costs approximately £200 for a pallet. In order to provide an accurate quotation all we require is your exact delivery address and we can normally provide a fixed quotation within 24 hours. Delivery within Europe typically takes between 5 and 10 days.
