The Bergen is a stylish wood burning, multi-fuel stove that features a built in electric fan to assist with passing the heat from the appliance in to the room. The Bergen offers a maximum output of 10kw with a nominal output of a respectable 7.4kw and an efficiency rating of over 78%, meaning that this stove offers optimum performance with very low fuel burn. Double burn technology, where the gasses are forced back in to the fire for a second ignition, is also a feature of this stylish stove.
The stove conforms to the Eco Design 2022 Compliance efficiency regulations, in recent testing, stoves that are Eco Design 2022 Compliant consumed 6 times less fuel than non compliant stoves… the result is that the savings on fuel consumption are significant.
The Bergen is manufactured in Spain by the highly accredited manufacturer Panadero, from high quality steel and finished to a very high standard.
The electric fan is controlled by a discrete on/off switch that is located on the lower right hand side of the front of the stove to provide simply control of the 2 speed fan. An electric supply is required to the back of the stove in order to facilitate use of the fan. The appliance includes a long length of flex for the electrical connection, a UK plug is NOT included.
The raised firebox is fully lined to optimise the lifetime of the appliance and is further complimented by a large rectangular ceramic glass window and stainless steel door handle and air control. The Bergen also features an advanced air wash system to ensure that the glass remains clean to maintain a superb view of the fire within the large rectangular firebox.
The stove also comes supplied with a removable ash pan for ease of cleaning and a multi-fuel fire grate.
