The Tritan Back Boiler 15kw Wood Burning Multi Fuel Stove
Eco Design 2022 Compliant, Suitable for Vented or Un-Vented Hot Water
A stylish, high quality – multi-fuel, wood burning stove with a built in back boiler for central heating and domestic hot water. The stove offers offers a nominal output of 7.5kw to space heating and 7.5kw to water heating and a maximum output of approximately 10kw to space and 10kw to water heating. Manufactured in Europe to the highest standards, the Tritan Back Boiler is made from high quality steel that unlike traditional fragile cast iron, won’t crack or melt.
T large firebox has a single door with large ceramic glass window that is further complimented by an “advanced air wash system” to maintain a clear view of the flames. The stove incorporates top and bottom (Primary and Secondary) air vents to enable simple yet effective control over the heat output and burn rate. Chrome door handle and air controls give the stove a modern appearance.
The back boiler is serviced by 1 x flow and 1 x return pipe connections, which are located on the back of the stove and are each sized at 1 inch BSP. The back boiler is rated to a maximum operational pressure of 2 bar, meaning that it can be used with either a vented or an un-vented hot water system. NB safety devices must be installed when using the stove with an un-vented hot water system, please call for further advice.
The Tritan has been designed to offer maximum efficiency and low fuel consumption and is Eco Design 2022 certified, it also offer an efficiency rating of 80% which is a high rating for a back boiler stove. The high efficiency means low fuel consumption, lower harmful emissions and high heat output . In recent tests stoves that are Eco Design 2022 compliant used 6 times less fuel than stoves that were not compliant with the new clean air regulations of Eco Design 2022.
