Q. Why are your prices so cheap compared to other suppliers, does this reflect the quality of the products you supply or the service you offer, they almost seem too good to be true.

A. The low prices of our stoves and products is not a reflection of the quality. At Modern Stoves we carefully source the item we sell and all our products are at least equal to the quality of most reputable shops and suppliers, but unlike most other stove shops and resellers, we work on very small margins. We buy direct from the manufacturer in large quantities and our ethos is to stack them high and sell them cheap. We hold extensive stock in our warehouses and we pass our bulk buying savings to our customer

Q. I need advice and assistance to choose the correct stove, and or heating appliance, can you help?

A. Yes,  simply contact us via telephone or email – we are always happy to chat, and one of our expert team will have the knowledge and professional expertise to be able to provide you with the advice you require.

Q. Do you have a showroom where I can view before I buy?

A. Modern Stoves doesn’t presently have a showroom because we have recently moved and we are a warehouse operation. However you are welcome to visit us to view some stoves by appointment. Please email modernstoves@gmail.com or call 0161 439 1400 to arrange. **VISITORS MUST CALL IN ADANCE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT PRIOR TO VISITING.

Q. Can I burn solid fuel in a wood burning stove ?

A. The majority of the stoves that Modern Stoves supply are equipped with a Multi-Fuel fire grate, to allow you to burn both wood and solid fuel (Peat, Smokeless Fuel etc.) However a few stoves that we offer aren’t equipped with a Multi-Fuel fire grate. Please check the description and specification where we state if the stove is equipped with a multi-fuel fire grate and contact us if you are in any doubt as to the suitability for your requirements. 0161 439 1400.

Q. How much will the flue system cost?

A. This will depend on the type of chimney you will require, please click on contact buyer and use contact telephone number to discuss your requirements and a member of our specialised team will be able to advise you.

Q.How much will installation of a stove Cost?

A. This will depend on the type of installation you require and the flue pipe that is required. We offer a free design and quotation service, please use either eBay messages or the contact number for a detailed response to your specific enquiry.

Q.Do you offer installation?

A. Modern Stoves are a HETAS certified installer and retailer, we can provide installation within 50 miles of Greater Manchester. Please email modernstoves@gmail.com or call 0161 439 1400 to discuss your specific requirements. If you are outside this area, please see www.HETAS.co.uk  to find installers who are local to you, via a postcode search.

Q. Can I get my item quicker?

A. Certainly, please call 0161 439 1440 to discuss your requirement and we will then do our utmost to expedite your delivery, in some cases there may be a small premium to pay for the enhanced delivery.

Q. When the stove is delivered will the delivery driver bring the stove in to my house and unpack it for me?

A. If you have any specific delivery requirements please email modernstoves@gmail.com or call 0161 439 1400 to speak to us. Under normal delivery the stove will be delivered to you on a pallet by a pallet delivery company. With regret the driver is not equipped, or insured to bring the stove in to your house. If you have an outhouse or garage then in most cases, if there is suitable access, the delivery driver will be able to put the stove in to the outhouse or garage.

Q. Does the stove require any self-assembly?

A. Most of the the stoves Modern Stoves supply are supplied pre -assembled with no home assembly required.

Q. Can I come to Modern Stoves and collect a stove?

A. You are very welcome to come and view and collect a stove if you wish, please email modernstoves@gmail.com or call 0161 439 1400 to advise us in advance that you wish to collect, we will then forward the collection address to you. We are more than happy to answer any questions, to ensure you obtain the correct products.
