The Modena 20kw Wood Burning Stove (This the version without back boiler)
Eco Design 2022 Compliant
The Modena offers a traditional wood burning stove style, but with clean straight lines that give the Modena a more modern appearance.
Manufactured in Europe, the Modena is finished in black with polished silver handles and controls.
The Modena offers a “huge” maximum output of 20kw, with a nominal output of 12kw, and conforms to the new Eco Design 2022 compliance rules, which truly makes it unrivaled value for money. In recent testing, stoves that are Eco Design 2022 Compliant consumed 6 times less fuel than non compliant stoves… the result is that the savings on fuel are significant. A large combustion chamber and an advanced pre-heat air wash system helps to keep the large ceramic glass window clean and provide a clear, warming view of the flames. The large firebox is fully lined with firebricks to provide optimum heating efficiency and a solid fuel grate enables easy lighting.
The stylish Modena also has the benefit of one primary control and two secondary control air vents to provide optimum control over the burn rate and temperature output. Hi Ashley, just thought I’d email you to say that the stove arrived at 9am – we had it fitted by 1 oclock and lit by 2. I was a bit concerned about it being steel rather than cast iron but you were right the stove is amazing and we’ve had it burning almost non stop in the pub since we installed it.
In all a smashing fire..thanks, as I said I;ll be in touch for another later in the year.

Hi, Bought the Modena Stove last November and it is superb. We have a 1200 sq ft open plan kitchen/dining/sunroom area and it heats it perfectly. At first it was burning logs very fast, but we soon learned to use larger wood logs with a mix of coal and slack to ensure a longer, stead burn. We use 50 Kg of coal a week,3 bags of logs and 1 bag of slack (total cost 38euro a week) compared to when we used the underfloor heating (110euro) a week to heat same area. Im back on website today to order a new grate for it as after a year of constant use its cracked. Overall a superb buy, amazing heat and well worth the investment!! Only sorry I never for the back boiler and link to heating system! !Jon
