The Zinc is a 3 sided uniquely styled, contemporary wood burning stove that offers 3 dimensional view of the fire within through ceramic glass windows to the sides and the front. The Zinc offfers a Nominal output of 7kw and maximum output of approximately 10kw. Manufactured in Europe and superbly finished to a very high quality the Zinc the stylish design of the Zinc is complimented with flush fitting handles and controls and a concealed lower log storage.
The Zinc is made from high quality steel, that unlike fragile cast iron, won’t crack or melt. The Zinc incorporates an air wash glass cleaning system that keeps both the front and side windows clear to provide a 3 dimensional view of the fire within.
The Zinc is Eco Design 2022 compliant which will ensure that it delivers optimum performance with low harmful emissions and it offers Triple Burn combustion where the combustion gases are re-circulated to ensure optimum performance and low fuel consumption. In recent testing, stoves that were Eco Design 2022 Compliant consumed 6 times less fuel than non compliant stoves… the result is that the savings on fuel consumption are significant.
The rear of the firebox is lined with a reflective fire brick material to optimize the performance of the stove and reflect the heat out into the room, Further feature include a removable ash pan for ease of cleaning and maintenance, and the stove is equipped with a multi-fuel fire grate.

After looking at a number of stoves in the shops we went to view the range of stoves that Modern Stoves have on offer and were showed around their warehouse. After looking at a number of stoves we chose the Vision over the Rio because we liked the idea of having a 3 sided stove. It was delivered on time and installed within a week and we have been delighted with it. It gives off a lot of heat, more than we expected it would, which isn’t a bad thing, and it looks fantastic in our lounge. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stove or modern stoves, as we found their range of stoves to be different from what the shops were offering and very reasonably priced.
