A superbly finished, high quality 10kw wood burning contemporary stove, with a nominal output of 7kw and with a unique style offering a three sided view of the fire within the firebox. Essentially the Vision has glass windows to the sides and the front, thus providing a fantastic warming view of the flames from all angles.
Manufactured in Europe to a very high standard and finished in a black, the Vision offers a stylish and modern appearance, the Vision offers a sophisticated style. Its unique design incorporates an advanced air-wash system that keeps both the front and side windows clear to provide a 3 dimensional view of the fire within.
The Vision offers an efficiency rating of 83% and is Eco Design Compliant, in recent testing stoves that are Eco Design Compliant consumed 6 times less fuel than non compliant stoves… the result is that the savings on fuel consumption are significant. The 83% efficiency rating is amongst the highest rating of any stove.
Other features of this attractive high output stove include lower log storage compartment and a polished silver door handle and controls. The stylish design also incorporates both primary and secondary air control, allowing optimum control over the burn rate and heat output. I was brought up with cast iron multi-fuel stoves. This is the first steel stove I’ve bought and the first time I have bought anything like this online. I had a tight budget and my old stove was really not safe to continue using. I was a nervous purchaser and spoke to the office several times before I purchased this stove. My back is not great and wanted a raised stove and the 3 Windows looked great. Stoves in local showrooms were so expensive for similar size and I was advised not to buy online. It’s a big purchase so i did a lot of research and rang other online suppliers also. HOWEVER – I am so pleased with my new stove and the very high service received during a number of calls to the office. All of my questions were answered and the staff seem very knowledgeable about these imported stoves and all of the current regulations about fitting. The stove was very well packed and the delivery company used was very helpful. My biggest headache was getting it fitted as woodburners are so popular now I’ve had a 2 month wait. The fitter could not believe the price I paid and told me that the steel would radiate more heat into the room. I found the running in instructions clear and easy to follow. I have had a chimney liner fitted for the first time and I was amazed with the level of control from the air controls. But a slight oversight was that I didn’t realize that the glove supplied would scuff the paintwork near the handle/air vent while the stove paint cured during first use. Take care with that, the paint really does soften and is vulnerable during those first few fires. I used the glove supplied which is a large so use one that fits better if you’ve small hands like me. But I am getting some touch up paint sent to me to sort that out. I cannot fault the service from modern stoves at all. Many thanks.
