The Oval Wood Burning – Multi- Fuel Contemporary Stove
Eco Design 2022 Compliant
The Oval is a sleek and stylish, curved wood burning and multi-fuel stove that offers a maximum output of 11-12kw with a nominal output of 8.7kw. The Oval is manufactured by Panadero, who are a premium manufacturer of stoves and solid fuel appliances. The Oval features a patented Triple Burn combustion system where the gases are re-circulated to offer maximum efficiency, minimum fuel burn and minimum emissions. Airflow control vents provide simple, but optimum control over the burn rate and temperature output.
The Oval is Eco Design 2022 certified in accordance with the new clean air act, in recent tests, stoves that were Eco Design 2022 compliant used 6 times less fuel than non compliant stoves.
The Oval is finished to a very high standard, in black, and incorporates a stainless steel handle and controls to compliment its contemporary appearance. The large firebox is full lined with firebricks to provide optimum heating efficiency and performance and to prolong the life of the appliance. The Oval features an advanced air wash system to ensure that the large curved ceramic glass remains clean to maintain a superb view of the fire within. The advanced design of the Oval also offers the option of connecting a direct air supply to the appliance if required, (Air pipes are NOT included).
Manufactured in Europe from high grade steel, the Oval won’t crack or melt, unlike a fragile cast iron appliance. Steel also has the advantage of heating up much more quickly than cast Iron and it reflects the heat much more efficiently than cast Iron.
Other features include lower log storage compartment and a large removable ash pan for ease of cleaning. Top flue exit only.

Hi There, I am very happy with the stove but I wanted to mention that you may want to advertise the fact that it comes with an outside air inlet. This is important because it means that the room this is installed in will be warmer – when vents are installed in a room to bring in fresh air, the room becomes colder so most people cover them with a log basket. That of course causes other issues like insufficient air for the stove . Anyway, I am delighted that there is an outside air inlet. I also found a damper and 4″ pipe from ebay at £30.

As promised here is my review, I am really happy with the stove, it was almost half the price of similar alternatives that I viewed in some local shops prior to purchase. Furthermore against the advice I was given about stoves sourced through the internet being cheap quality, I am pleased to say that the Oval I purchased is superb and it was delivered on the day that was agreed. It was a shame that the delivery service didn’t include bringing the stove in to my house, but that aside the service was excellent.
